Trump visits first lady at Walter Reed hospital

President Trump made an unscheduled visit to check on First Lady Melania Trump in the hospital Tuesday afternoon.

President Donald Trump traveled again Tuesday to Walter Reed National Military Medical Center outside Washington, where his wife, Melania, is convalescing after a kidney procedure. The statement conveyed, "The First Lady looks forward to a full recovery so she can continue her work on behalf of children everywhere". The outlet also reported that President Donald Trump remained at the White House during his wife's surgery, but that he's expected to visit the hospital soon.

An embolization is a minimally invasive treatment that blocks one or more blood vessels or abnormal vascular channels.

Most of the time, these benign tumors are found when people undergo medical scans for another reason, but sometimes people have pain or other symptoms, Kowalczyk said.

Prior to her hospitalization Monday, Trump appeared outwardly in good health this week.

The 48-year-old first lady had an "embolization" procedure Monday at a military hospital outside Washington.

Mrs. Trump's spokeswoman had said the first lady was likely to remain hospitalized for "the duration of the week".

"Our wonderful first lady are doing very well". Separately, a former Playboy model has revived her allegations of a 10-month affair with Trump in 2006.

Mrs. Trump unveiled her official policy platform "Be Best" last week.

The first lady lived full time in NY during the administration's opening months so Barron would not have to change schools midyear. The White House said the procedure was "successful" and that there were no complications.
