Trump expects quick trade deal with Britain, says USA ambassador

"The President and first lady will travel to Windsor castle, where he will meet with Her Majesty the Queen".

Trump's short visit comes off the back of speculation about when he would land on the soil of America's closest ally.

Besides meeting with the Queen, other items on Trump's agenda for the visit include a black-tie dinner with business leaders and a visit with Prime Minister Theresa May to a military demonstration.

They will move on to Chequers for a working lunch and bilateral talks on a range of worldwide issues, followed by a press conference.

"We have ad hoc committees from every department - whether it's treasury, finance, trade - are looking at how to put that together really rapidly and efficiently".

After an overnight stay at the US ambassador's London residence, Mr Trump on Friday will join Mrs May at an undisclosed defence site to view the UK's "cutting edge military capabilities" and integrated UK-US military training, before they head to Chequers for talks.

Johnson said Trump was "aware" of the planned protest, which will also feature a six-metre (19-foot) high balloon showing the president wearing a nappy.

The President will arrive into Britain on Thursday next week, and will not attend any events in central London.

"The prime minister has always said she wants to strike an ambitious trade deal with the US".

The US President also sparked a backlash from author JK Rowling, among others, when he lashed out at Khan immediately after a London terror attack a year ago which killed seven people and left 48 injured.

Trump's statement further irritated London, as many people and government officials asked May to withdraw her invitation to Trump to pay a state visit.

After the London protest, organizers say they plan to send the balloon on a "world tour".

Protestors will be on standby to race to one of Trump's two golf resorts in Scotland in case he visits.

The president is only expected to spend one evening in the capital city.

He reported that he and his fellow organisers "didn't get off to the best start with the mayor's office over this, who originally told us that they didn't recognise Trump Baby as legitimate protest". Also part of this worldwide trip is the North Atlantic Treaty Organisation summit in Brussels, a weekend in Scotland and a summit with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Mrs. May has publicly admonished Mr. Trump, including his trade agenda, and the two engaged in a Twitter spat previous year after Mrs.
