Presented the world’s first 5G smartphone

Motorola and Verizon seem to have made a clever play with the release of a phone that will be in the marketplace and ready for conversion to 5G when the network is ready. Aside from the 5G Moto Mod that was announced alongside of it, the handset presents nothing new, combining elements of last year's Moto Z2 Force and this year's Moto Z3 Play.

But while 5G might seem like a really good reason to run out and buy a Z3, don't be fooled. Motorola is adopting 5G connectivity a little earlier than its competitors and has also introduced a Moto Mod that will make this ultra-fast connectivity possible. Motorola has added an 18:9 display on the Moto Z3 which allowed the brand to cram bigger battery inside the device.

The new offering is, on the face of it, an update to the Moto Z2 Force (there will not be a Moto Z3 Force version this year), but shares numerous same specs as its predecessor.

In the USA, the Moto Z3 price has been set at $480 (approximately Rs. 33,000).

The Moto Z3 is a Verizon exclusive, and will be available on August 16. Motorola is launching the Moto Z3 just a few months after the Moto Z3 Play, and it is also announcing a new 5G Moto Mod to go with it.

Mike Pompeo pledges U.S. 'partnership not domination' in 'Indo-Pacific' region
He asserted that it is clear a big part of America's worldwide economic future is in the Indo-Pacific. A diplomatic strategy needs specifics - like partner governments and a scope of focus.

Moto Z3 is powered by 2.35GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 processor with Adreno 540 GPU.

The processor apart, the Z3 also boasts of a better camera setup in the form of dual 12 megapixel sensors. On the front, it has an 8MP selfie shooter with f/2.0 aperture and an 84-degree field-of-view. It has support for 4G VoLTE, 802.11ac dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5 LE, NFC, and Global Positioning System. The Moto Z3 features a 3000mAh battery, Android 8.1 Oreo, and a USB-C port. While the phone does feature almost everything you'd expect from a premium phone in 2018 (except for the highest end processor), Motorola is instead of betting on the 5G future for its success. The company has additionally partnered with Qualcomm to launch a 5G Moto Mod that will enable the next-generation network access on the Moto Z3.

Other noteworthy features of The Moto Z3 include turbopower charging, a large display and compatibility with Moto Mods to customize the phone.

The Moto Z3 comes in only one storage model with 64GB. Mobile 5G technology will be released throughout 2019 by Verizon.

Pricing and exact availability for the 5G mod will come later this year. The new smartphone now has a new 5G Mod support which works on Verizon's 5G Network. This Moto smartphone is backed by a 3000 mAh non-removable Li-Ion battery which the company claims that it's capable of lasting one full day.
