Although Owens probably would have heard some boos if he had given his speech in Canton, the people of Chattanooga proved to be the ideal audience for Owens, who went to college at the University of Tennessee Chattanooga from 1992 to 1995.

"And when they ostracized me and tried to keep me from what I rightfully earned not once but twice, I remember the text, " Owens said, referring to his mother.

The Class of 2018 was inducted during the Enshrinement Ceremony at the Tom Benson Hall of Fame Stadium in Canton.

Owens entered the Pro Football Hall of Fame in a celebration uniquely his own Saturday afternoon at his alma mater before approximately 3,000 fans who frequently cheered, chanted "T.O." and gave him the occasional standing ovation.

"I can not forget my small, unincorporated community", he said. In fact, he will be enshrined into the Pro Football Hall of Fame on Saturday on the first ballot, becoming one of only six wideouts to accomplish that feat.

The Pro Football Hall of Fame is an exclusive club of football players that were among the best that ever stepped on a football field.

He asserted that it is clear a big part of America's worldwide economic future is in the Indo-Pacific. A diplomatic strategy needs specifics - like partner governments and a scope of focus.

Sure enough, Owens didn't hold back during his speech. "'Momma, it was not about me.' I had to go get it for us", Moss added.

Urlacher followed by mentioning several former teammates.

So when the Vikings saw that Moss was still available when it came time for them to make the 21st overall pick in the 1998 draft, the team didn't even hesitate to make the selection.

"I love you, too, " Owens said.

That's a fitting end to Terrell Owens' NFL career. Instead, a humble Owens spent almost his entire speech thanking everyone who helped him through life, including his mom, his grandma, his high school coaches, his college coaches and his National Football League coaches.

Owens also dropped some humor when a fan yelled out, "I love you, T.O". "It speaks volumes to the type of person that he is, even though other people may think other of him".
