Manchester United reject Barcelona's Paul Pogba bid

Manchester United reject Barcelona's Paul Pogba bid

With the Premier League transfer deadline ending on 9th of August, it is hard for Manchester United to find a replacement for Paul Pogba.

The World Cup winning midfielder returned to United in 2016 following a spell in Italy with Juventus.

Behind all the moves are the Machiavellian hands of 26-year-old Pogba's agent, Mino Raiola. The French midfielder is a "priority" for the Blaugranas despite the club signing Arturo Vidal and Arthur Melo, reports Mundo Deportivo.

Jose Mourinho wants to sign a centre-half before the Premier League transfer window closes on Thursday, and Tottenham Hotspur's Toby Alderweireld is believed to be one of his targets.

Manchester United have reportedly rejected an offer from Barcelona to make a swap move for Paul Pogba with a £45m fee plus Andre Gomes and Yerry Mina.

The newspaper adds that Pogba has agreed terms with Barcelona.

"But I hope someone can catch them - it would be nice, so hopefully Manchester United can".

Trump chief of staff says he will stay at Trump's request
Trump tweeted a photo of himself with Kelly on Monday to celebrate his deputy's first year. Trump is known as a mercurial boss whose feelings on key staffers can shift rapidly.

Pogba's performances in Russian Federation have not gone unnoticed, with Real Madrid, Juventus and Paris Saint-Germain all linked with a move.

Pogba's relationship with United boss Jose Mourinho has come under the spotlight once again after he refused to cut short his holiday to return to pre-season training.

Chilean Alexis Sanchez, a January signing from Arsenal, never really settled during the second half of the season but after a summer's rest due to his country's absence from the World Cup, he should be refreshed and better integrated.

According to rumours, Pogba has desired to join Barcelona but a chance of a reunion with Juventus will be quite tempting for him.

Leicester City are adamant over retaining defender Harry Maguire and have told Manchester United he is not available at any price.

According to reports, Unai Emery has persuaded the Gunners hierarchy to bid a staggering £89m for the Barcelona star.

Keown said, as quoted by the Daily Star: "I don't see it happening".
