Danny Ings: I wish LFC all the success

Danny Ings: I wish LFC all the success

Much of his time with the Reds was, unfortunately, spent on the treatment table, with two major knee injuries limiting his prospects.

The striker sealed a move to Southampton ahead of the transfer deadline that will see him spend 2018-19 on loan with the south coast side before the switch is made permanent on July 1, 2019.

The Champions League finalists will kick off as second favourites behind Manchester City, and they're seen as the Citizens' main rivals for a reason, as they dished out one of only two City defeats of the Premier League season previous year.

It is a very unusual feeling saying goodbye to Danny.

Manager Jurgen Klopp did not want the striker to leave Liverpool, but was understanding of his desire for game-time and willing to sanction a move. But we won't just miss his character because he is a footballer who has all the tools.

I Really hope danny ings stays clear of any injuries and does brilliantly for Southampton. He deserves a bit of luck.really nice bloke! Before joining I tried to watch as many games on tape as I could from the season so far and Danny Ings stood out as someone I was really looking forward to coaching. It's his home, his family is there, it's his boyhood club.

Elon Musk jolts Wall Street with tweet on going private
Wall Street jumped on the news, spiking Tesla stock from around $342 a share to a high slightly north of $370 in just 45 minutes. Intentions to buy out public shareholders usually need to be filed with the Securities and Exchange Commission, or SEC.

I wish you all the success in the future and I'll miss you all.

Southampton manager Mark Hughes said: "There was significant competition for Danny, with a lot of clubs keen to complete a deal for him, so we're clearly delighted that he chose to join us".

"We have admired him for some time now, not only for his ability, but also his character and personality".

Ings could make his Southampton debut in Sunday's Premier League clash with Burnley.

"He's obviously a local boy, who gives us another excellent option up front".
